What’s new in Jelo
Recent product launches, current beta availability and the features planned next. Launch dates below use the month confirmed by the Jelo team.
· Jelo AI assistant launched
The in-app assistant is available in beta. Ask about practice records, prepare supported actions for confirmation and use the exam assistant with clinician review. There are no usage limits during beta; usage caps are planned for the future.
· VisionWeb integration launched
Connect your VisionWeb account to the optical lab-ordering workflow. Available labs and catalog options depend on the accounts connected to your practice.
· AI biller launched
Insurance and payer services are handled by Taiga. Jelo charges 10% of insurance reimbursement for the AI biller service, separate from the platform subscription. No usage limits during beta does not waive this fee.
The AI biller is available in beta with no usage limits during beta. Usage caps are planned for the future. Review your payer list and enrollment requirements during setup.
Available for multiple locations
Multi-location is available now. Set up your offices, staff permissions, stock and location-specific workflows, with a separate subscription for each paid location.

What the launch labels mean
Available means the product or connection has launched within the scope described on its page. Beta identifies a released product whose usage terms or capabilities may evolve. Planned identifies roadmap work that should not be treated as available for your current operating requirements.
The months above are the launch periods confirmed by the Jelo team. They do not establish a specific release day or a complete history of every software change. Multiple-location support is available, but no launch month is assigned here because one has not been confirmed.
Prepare the relevant setup before using a new connection
For VisionWeb, review the location account, linked labs and available catalogs. For the AI biller, bring the payer list, enrollment questions and the records your practice needs to supply. A launch announcement does not mean every external account has already been configured for your practice.
For the AI assistant, review the staff role, office context and confirmation card before executing a supported action. Clinicians review exam suggestions. The available assistant is distinct from the planned scribe and receptionist, even though all of them involve AI.
Keep beta usage and service fees separate
The current no-cap beta policy for the assistant and biller concerns usage limits. It does not waive the AI biller's 10% reimbursement-based charge through Taiga or include patient-payment processing in the platform subscription. Future cap amounts and timing have not been announced here.
Use pricing to review the platform and separate charges. If a roadmap product is essential to a purchase decision, obtain a current availability and scope answer rather than relying on a planned release window.
Choose the next guide for your role
Optical staff can start with inventory and lab handoffs. Billing staff can review remittances and unresolved work. Practice managers can use the evaluation worksheet to record setup requirements and evidence of readiness.
