Optometry billing software for vision and medical workflows
Keep the clinical encounter, claims and payments connected. Give your billing team a workflow for eligibility, claim preparation, remittances and follow-up.
$300/month per location or $3,000/year per location.
40-minute demo · Unlimited doctors and staff at each paid location
Walk through the work your team does
- 01
Confirm coverage and enrollment
Review patient coverage, payer connectivity and the practice's enrollment requirements before relying on an electronic transaction.
- 02
Prepare and review the claim
Use the documented encounter and appropriate codes to prepare billing. The practice remains responsible for code selection, documentation and payer rules.
- 03
Work remittances and follow-up
Review claim status and remittance information, reconcile payments and follow up on rejections or denials.
Use a de-identified example from your practice during the demo. Confirm the workflow against your devices, payers, locations and account configuration.
Vision and medical claims need different decisions
Coverage depends on the patient's plan, the service and the documentation. The software workflow supports the billing team; it does not guarantee coverage or reimbursement.
- Test one routine vision example and one medical encounter.
- Confirm the payers, clearinghouse services and enrollment needed.
- Review adjustments, patient responsibility and denial worklists.
Separate current billing tools from future AI
The live platform includes billing tools. The AI biller is in development as a separately priced add-on, published at 10% of insurance reimbursement. Automated appeals and autonomous claim follow-up should not be treated as features included in the platform subscription.
Use a measured billing baseline
Track claim acceptance, days to payment, denials by reason and unresolved balances for comparable periods. Jelo does not promise a fixed denial reduction or revenue increase. Your payer mix, documentation and staff process affect the result.
